Un petit Daguerreotype fait ce matin dans la précipitation (argenture et prise de vue dans la foulée), avant une seconde rencontre avec Marc Kereun, Daguerreotypiste contemporain sur qui je vais rediger un petit article dans quelques jours.
J'ai ici un "brouillard" qui semblerait dû à des phénomènes éléctriques lors de l'argenture. C'est à travailler.

Having failed at my first attempt at silvering copper (with powder) I now have even more respect for this process.  Once I have used the last of my silvering powder from *bay,  I will try mixing my own.

Silvering is a difficult stage. I think, for a really perfect silvering, it is necessary to contact the professionals of silvering, and to employ his time at the other stages which are specific to the daguerreotypie.

I think myself of giving up the stage of silvering to entrust it to a professional.

Since 1840, Daguerreotypiste bought their silver plated plates has professionals of silvering.

Après une dorure, les blancs se réchauffent, les noirs s'accentuent.
Cependant, les "brouillards" de l'argenture sont toujours présents et indélébiles...
